  • Sherri Forman

Sherri Forman is a thoughtful and empathetic counselor who brings life experience, professional training, and a deep commitment to healing into her work with adults, couples, and parents. Inspired by her own personal growth journey, Sherri understands how humbling and complex life can be. She is passionate about helping clients find clarity, strength, and resilience as they navigate their own paths toward emotional wellness.

Sherri has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and the Gottman Method for couples counseling. These evidence-based tools allow her to offer personalized, effective support for clients facing anxiety, relationship stress, life transitions, parenting struggles, and communication issues.

Sherri especially enjoys working with individuals and families seeking to improve connection—whether it’s between romantic partners or between parents and children. She helps clients uncover unhealthy patterns, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen their ability to respond rather than react. Her work is grounded in a person-centered, trauma-informed approach that honors the lived experience and wisdom each client brings into the room.

She creates a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take actionable steps toward change. Sherri believes in the power of curiosity, empathy, and skill-building to help clients gain insight, develop healthier coping strategies, and move forward with purpose.

Outside of her clinical work, Sherri enjoys hiking, reading, exercising, baking, and spending time with her family—especially when her college-age children are home. She values the connection between physical health and mental well-being and often draws on mindfulness and lifestyle practices to support overall balance.

Sherri is honored to walk alongside clients as they discover their inner strength, clarify their values, and make meaningful changes in their lives and relationships.
